This program is designed to connect community members with our dedicated Natural Resources staff and the vital work being done to preserve and enhance our natural environment. During the walk, participants will have the chance to discover the unique ecosystems within our parks and the various species that inhabit them as we learn about current and future restoration projects aimed at enhancing habitat health and biodiversity. This is a free program. For more information, contact ParkPrograms@sonoma-county.org. Registration required.
Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request.
