Land And Lake: Spring Lake Nature Walk

May 6, 2023

1:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Join a California naturalist for a walk around the lake, exploring the diverse habitat of Spring Lake Park as we celebrate 50 years.

Program Location:

Spring Lake Regional Park

Meeting Place:

Violetti Entrance, Swimming Lagoon Parking Lot

Together we will admire the beauty of Spring Lake and learn about some of the plants and wildlife who call this park home. On a hike of up to 2.5 miles around the 72-acre lake that is at the heart of this park, we will take time to appreciate the different views as we explore one of Sonoma County's most popular parks. For more information, contact Cricket Swannucci communityengagementprograms@sonoma-county.org. No registration required.

Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking is $7 or free with a Regional Parks membership.
