Join park staff and our fellow community members as we spend time removing trash from Spring Lake by kayak. Spring Lake is home to a huge variety of birds. Keeping it clean protects wildlife and makes for a better visitor experience. Kayaks, tools, gloves, and materials will be supplied by Regional Parks. Water and cold drinks will be on hand for volunteers. Registration required.
Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in non-absorbent layers, wear shoes that can get wet, and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request.
