Dive into a week of water safety, fun, and adventure! Designed for younger campers, this playful introduction to Junior Lifeguards helps kids build confidence in and around the water. With guidance from expert open-water lifeguards, participants will learn basic water safety, practice beginner rescue techniques, and explore teamwork through fun games and activities. Campers will enjoy swimming, time on the inflatable Water Park, and engaging hands-on lessons that make learning about lifeguarding exciting and approachable. Open to youth ages 7 to 9 at the time of participation. Participants should be comfortable in shallow water but do not need prior swimming experience. The cost is $280 for Sonoma County residents and $282 for out-of-county attendees. For more information, contact ParkPrograms@sonoma-county.org. Registration required. Camps will happen rain or shine but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Each child may be registered for only one Junior Guard Camp session this summer.
