How do birds find and eat their food? How do they decide where they want to live? With hands on activities, games, and a mellow walk through the park, we will search for birds, observe their behavior, and imagine what it's like to be a bird! Enjoy the outdoors with your little ones in new ways! On this program, we will provide a fun and educational morning for children ages 4-6 and their families. We’ll engage in exploratory walks in the park, hands-on learning, nature-based games, and fun crafts to take home. Sign up for one or more! The cost is $10 per family (up to four people per family) and $12 for out-of-county attendees (up to four people per family). For more information, contact Cricket Swannucci at firstname.lastname@example.org. Registration required.
Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking is $7 or free with a Regional Parks membership.
