Discover the river, lakes, and redwoods and all the wonder of the outdoors by joining Nature Explorers Camp at Riverfront Regional Park. Campers will learn about birds, animals, and all things nature through hands-on learning, exploration, and outdoor adventures. During this three-day camp, participants will hike around the lakes and to the Russian River, learn how to ID plants and animals, play nature-based games, journal like a scientist, and much more. Please note, there is no swimming or boating in this camp. Open to youth ages 9-12 at time of participation. Camps will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Please inform us of any accessibility needs ahead of time so we can best support your camper. Each child may be registered for only one Nature Explorers session this summer.
