Become a Nature Investigator in your local park! Over the course of this four-week afterschool drop-off program, students will build connections and learn science as they explore the natural world. Four consecutive Wednesdays in May: 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29. Designed for ages 9-12, students can expect to go hiking, practice observations, and make new friends! The cost is $150 for all four weeks. Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking is $7 or free with a Regional Parks membership pass.
