Connect to the redwoods and the outdoors by joining Naturalist Skills Camp at Riverfront Regional Park. Campers will learn about birds, animals, and all things nature through hands-on learning, exploration, and outdoor adventures. During this two-day camp, participants will go on hikes around the lakes and to the Russian River, learn how to ID plants and animals, play nature-based games, journal like a scientist, and much more. Please note, there is no swimming or boating in this camp. Open to youth ages 9-12 at time of participation. The cost is $175 for Sonoma County residents and $177 for out-of-county attendees. Camps will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Each child may be registered for only one Naturalist Skills Camp session this summer.
