Enjoy an up to 7-mile round-trip self-guided hike on a series of looping, occasionally steep trails. Mark West provides access to year-round creeks, riparian woodlands, towering redwoods, and beautiful views from lofty ridges. Parks staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions, point out the land’s features, and provide updates on the master planning process to permanently open the park. Registration required.
Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Please let us know ahead of time if you have accessibility needs so we can best support your experience. For more information, contact ParkPrograms@sonomacounty.gov
