Enjoy an up to 5-mile round-trip self-guided hike on gently sloping trails occasionally shared with cattle. Wright Hill offers rolling pastures, native grasslands, and bay and redwood groves, all with sweeping coastal views. Parks staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions, point out the land’s features, provide updates on the master planning process to permanently open the park, and provide tips for hiking in the presence of cattle. Access is by shuttle from roadside parking along Carlevaro Way (directly across Highway 1): a scenic, but twisty, 10-minute ride. Pets are not allowed. Registration required.

Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Please let us know ahead of time if you have accessibility needs so we can best support your experience. For more information, contact ParkPrograms@sonomacounty.gov
