Have you ever wondered what it’s like to hike Sonoma County parks at night? Join Park staff after dark to explore the world of bats. During this exclusive after-hours program, we will hike 1.5-2 miles over moderate terrain to learn why bats are an important part of our ecosystem. Registration required.
Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking fees apply but are waived with a Regional Parks membership pass. For more information, contact ParkPrograms@sonomacounty.gov.
