Do you wonder what it’s like to hike in Sonoma County Regional Parks at night? Join us for this exclusive evening series as we explore the changes and sensations the darkness brings. Engage with the beautiful and often unseen world of this park, learn about nocturnal animals, view the vast expanse of stars in the night sky, and watch the sun set below the horizon. Walk the park amongst shining stars on a date when you can best view the vast expanse of stars and discover celestial objects and constellations. On this one mile hike, we will explore the stories and legends of the sky. The cost is $5 for in-county residents and $7 for out-of-county attendees. For more information, contact Kalen Roloff at communityengagementprograms@sonoma-county.org. Registration required.

Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking is $7 or free with a Regional Parks membership.
