Have you ever wondered what it’s like to hike Sonoma County parks at night? Glimpse the park in a new light as the sun sets over the horizon. We will hike 2-2.5 miles over moderate terrain to enjoy the sunset overlooking Bennett Valley. Discover how the park changes as light becomes dark and learn which animals roam the park during evening hours. Registration required.
Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking fees apply but are waived with a Regional Parks membership pass. For more information, contact ParkPrograms@sonomacounty.gov.
