Starting along the shaded banks of Colgan Creek, this lengthy hike will climb newly constructed trails of the Taylor Mountain addition before topping out at peaks offering views to the east, north, and west. Along the way, learn some of the history of this land prior to its acquisition as a park. Registration required.
Please bring snacks and plenty of water. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking fees apply but are waived with a Regional Parks membership pass. For more information, contact ParkPrograms@sonomacounty.gov.
