Come observe and enjoy Sonoma County’s coastal redwood forest at one of our newest properties, the Monte Rio Redwoods! With currently about 3 miles of trail meandering under and around our gentle giants, the park offers beautiful scenery and a shaded canopy. Come for a guided hike through this newly acquired forest and learn about the coastal redwood habitat as we go along. This is a free program. Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request.
