Taylor Mountain Regional Park & Open Space Preserve in southeast Santa Rosa features a rugged landscape in the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains and offers nearly 8 miles of trails for hiking, bicycle, and horseback riding. The 850-acre park includes oak woodlands, forests of mixed evergreens, ridges with sweeping views of the Santa Rosa Plain, canyons, rolling hills, a shaded creek, and a pond. Working alongside Regional Park staff, volunteers will remove invasive plants to improve the health of the native ecosystem. All tools, gloves and materials will be supplied by Regional Parks. Coffee, snacks, water and cold drinks will be on hand for volunteers. Registration is required. For more information, contact ParkPrograms@sonoma-county.org. Registration required.

Please bring your own water. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request.
