Join us for a leisurely stroll through coastal prairie, riparian area, beach and bluff trails with an emphasis on a different natural and cultural history topic on each walk. We'll discuss dynamic marine, river and open space environments, the different plants and wildlife to be found, as well as the area's history. Learn about whales, San Andreas fault, Siberians, cougars, bumblebees, eagles and much more! For more information, contact Roberta Chan at ParkPrograms@sonoma-county.org. No registration required.
Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking fees apply but are waived with a Regional Parks membership pass. For more information, contact ParkPrograms@sonomacounty.gov.
