Bring your junior scientists over to the Environmental Discovery Center to enjoy a kids-only, interactive science hour. Build a mini boat and test how well it floats! Using a variety of random items, set your inner engineer loose to build your mini vessel, measuring its success with "passengers" and water. Adults can head out into Spring Lake Park to enjoy rejuvenating, kid-free time in nature! Activities are ideal for kids ages 6-12. Registration required.
Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Please let us know ahead of time if you have accessibility needs so we can best support your experience. Parking fees apply but are waived with a Regional Parks membership pass.
