Encircling two ponds and bordering a salt water marsh, the Bird Walk Coastal Trail hosts many bird species. Enjoy this gentle 2-mile saunter and get to know other friendly, older adults. Explore plant and animal life along some of Sonoma County’s most accessible and beautiful trails. The Bird Walk Access Trail circles two freshwater ponds along Bodega Harbor and overlooks marshland that provides year-round habitat for waterfowl, shorebirds and songbirds. This is a free program. Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking is $7 or free with a Regional Parks membership pass.
