Join Parks staff as we hike to the Valley View Vista Point and explore Hood Mountain! During this hike, we will walk 4.5 miles and gain 1,200ft of elevation over steep terrain. Along the way, we will journey through lush forests of oaks and maples and learn about this important mountain ecosystem.
Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request.
