Designed for new birders and beginners, this workshop will help you develop your bird-watching skills while learning more about our feathered friends and their world. Plumage, field marks, songs, and calls ... there are lots of different ways to identify who's who. We’ll practice and discover some useful tools (that aren't books!) for when you're stuck. All ages are welcome, and binoculars are provided. Registration required.

Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking fees apply but are waived with a Regional Parks membership pass. For more information, contact ParkPrograms@sonomacounty.gov.
