Explore our parks like a real park ranger! Youth ages 7-13: Earn your official Regional Park Junior Ranger badge as you have fun exploring and learning about our parks. Participants must complete their Junior Ranger passport by attending two service day events and two other Junior Ranger programs. Passports are available at all Junior Ranger programs.

Did you know fire can help our forests? Fire is important to our ecosystem, so come learn all about fire ecology and how friendly fire can benefit our community. Let us explore fire-scarred land together to better understand Fire Ecology. The cost is $10 for in-county residents and $12 for out-of-county attendees. For more information, contact Michaela Greppi at michaela.greppi@sonoma-county.org.

Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking is $7 or free with a Regional Parks membership.
