Come explore the wildness. Meet one of our newest parklands that was acquired by Sonoma County Ag + Open Space and transferred to Regional Parks. Calabazas Creek has a fascinating history and boasts beautiful vistas, creek-side treasures and a challenging hike. Park staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions and point out the land’s features, including the regrowth from the wildfires and the master planning process to permanently open the park. For more information, contact Andrew Traverso at ParkPrograms@sonoma-county.org. Registration required.

Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request.
