Explore our parks like a real park ranger! Youth ages 7-13 earn your official Regional Park Junior Ranger badge as you have fun exploring and learning about our parks. Participants must complete their Junior Ranger passport by attending two service day events and two other Junior Ranger programs. Passports are available at all Junior Ranger programs.
Sonoma County has rivers, lakes and beaches to fish from, each require different fishing techniques but offer a great experience. Spend time with Park Ranger Gutierrez and learn what it takes to master fishing in Sonoma County. Bring your own fishing gear or borrow some of ours! Fishing rods provided. The cost is $10 for in-county residents and $12 for out-of-county attendees. For more information, contact Melanie Gutierrez at email@example.com. Registration required.
Please bring your own water and snacks. We recommend participants dress in layers and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking is $7 or free with a Regional Parks membership.
