Looking to complete a service project so you can receive your official Junior Ranger badge? Help Ranger Ryan transform an old, historic rock silo that still remains at Steelhead Beach today. Together we'll paint the bottom half and cover up graffiti to restore it back to it's natural color. Paint, brushes, supplies and safety equipment will be provided. Wear clothing and footwear that you don’t mind getting paint on. For more information, contact Ryan Conradi at communityengagementprograms@sonoma-county.org. Registration required.

We recommend participants dress in layers, wear comfortable, closed toed hike shoes and bring a hat and sunscreen. Most programs will happen rain or shine, but may be canceled during heavy rains, heavy smoke, or extreme temperatures. Accommodations will be made for visitors with disabilities upon advance request. Parking fees are waived for volunteers.
